Student Resources in Gatton

Make the most of what the Gatton College of Business and Economics has to offer! All the following resources are free and available to all Gatton students.

  1. Graham Office of Career Management

The Graham Office is the one-stop destination for all your career need! It offers career/major exploration, resume/ cover letter writing, job/internship search, interview discussions, career assessments, and more! Register for an appointment on Handshake or visit drop-in hours.

  1. Undergraduate Resource Center

The Undergraduate Resource Center (URC) compliments classroom learning and equips all Gatton students with the necessary tools to succeed in their life and career endeavors. The URC is where you can visit your academic advisors to discuss majors, minors, certificates, class scheduling, and scholarships/ financial aid.

  1. LEAP (Lab for Economics & Accounting Proficiency)

LEAP provides free tutoring services for students enrolled in ACC 201, ACC 202, ACC 301, ECO 201, ECO 202, ECO 391, and ECO 401.   1. Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship

The mission of the University of Kentucky (UK) Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship is to strengthen Kentucky’s economy through entrepreneurship, and business outreach in the Commonwealth. They offer an Entrepreneurs Bootcamp Program for UK students, faculty, clinicians, postdocs, and community mentors/entrepreneurs that focuses on creative and collaborative entrepreneurial learning, growth, and innovation.

  1. Study Room Reservations

There are 42 study rooms are available to Gatton students on a first-come-first-serve basis. These study rooms include white boards as well as TV monitors with HDMI hookups. To reserve a study room, visit this website: https://gatton.uky.edu/facilities/study-rooms/study-room-reservations

  1. Office of Student Organizations and Activities

The Office of Student Organizations and Activities can help students explore the many opportunities for involvement in the UK community. They assist in all things related to Student Organizations and activities and offer Involvement Advising for those looking for more information.   1. Faculty Offices

Many Gatton Faculty members have offices within the Gatton College building. Remember to take advantage of our amazing faculty by reaching out to them and potentially attending their office hours!
