Salesforce is a cloud computing service as a software (SaaS) company that specializes in customer relationship management (CRM). Salesforce’s services allow businesses to use cloud technology to better connect with customers, partners and potential customers. The software has become the number one choice for customer success and helps businesses track customer activity, market to customers and much more.
The UKY Salesforce Club provides students with individual customized learning paths, access to industry experts and potential employment. Students can take on careers in marketing, sales, and technology. Each role provides these new professionals a way to put their Salesforce skills to use and develop their careers. We do this by bringing professional-level content right to them – preparing students for today’s data-centric careers.
The club utilizes Trailhead, a learning experience platform—a library of educational content that you can access whenever you like. It is designed around what users need to learn, rather than around what a training department needs to teach. You can choose from various topics to learn new skills at your own pace. Trailhead gives students the opportunity to learn all aspects of Salesforce and business with CRM. In between bi-weekly Sunday meetings, team leaders assign “trails” to that students can complete to earn badges. These badges help prepare you to take a Salesforce Certification Exam!
