Celebrating Gatton’s Intern of the Year Award Recipients

In partnership with the Stuckert Career Center, the Gatton College of Business and Economics has recognized the outstanding accomplishments of student interns during the 2020-2021 academic year. To be considered, the employer needed to submit a nomination letter on behalf of their intern. The winners were selected based on their contributions to the organization, meaningful work that impacted the organization, how the student exceeded expectations and how they grew from the beginning of their internship to the end.

In addition to our outstanding interns, we also recognized the contributions from our employer partners for supporting our students during this challenging year. BrainBox Intelligent Marketing was named UK Employer of the Year based on their deep commitment to UK students through internships, mentoring, resume review events, mock interviews, and panel discussions. BrainBox is a Lexington-based experiential and digital marketing firm.  Scott Bridegam and Camile Turner accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Congratulations to all of the following winners on their achievements at their internships sites!
