Graduate Investment Accountant II
Assist the Director of Investment Accounting and/or other accounting staff in all areas involving recording and reporting of transactions/investment holdings by:
- ensuring accuracy of ledger entries in the investment accounting ledger software
- ensuring all transactions have been processed and appropriate document references recorded reflecting a clear audit trail
- maintenance of real estate investment activity and related informational database
- development and/or refining of specialized reports in order to obtain the most efficient and effective reporting styles
- development of supporting software programs utilizing Excel, Access, Crystal Reports, or others in order to report detailed data pertaining to transactions or investment holdings
- Provides backup assistance: 1) in the monitoring of stock litigation class actions that KTRS could be a party to, ensuring that the KTRS agent has identified all appropriate suits and collected the appropriate funds owed; 2) in reconciliation of cash accounts with custodial bank records; and 3) posting of corporate action and investment transfer activity.
Responsible for the development, design, and preparation of professional monthly and quarterly reports using designated software products. Assists in the examination of on-going processes to recommend possible efficient alternatives to current methods.
Assists in the recording of alternative investment/private equity transaction activity by entering transaction data into specialized accounting software. Responsible for monitoring and reconciliation of alternative investment activity with custodian and general partner records/reports.
Responsible for preparation of cash wire transfers for approval and execution. Prepares appropriate transaction journal voucher for transfers and reconciles cash balances daily between Ledger and custodial accounts
