Uncover company insights and predict customer buying behaviour with our Data Science team

Welcome to our programme – we’re thrilled to have you on board!

It’s an exciting time to be at British Airways. We’re expanding our global network, investing in cutting-edge technology, and transforming the experience we offer to customers. As a 24/7 business operating across the globe, we thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—one that brings out the best in those who are ready to step up and take on new challenges. No matter where you join us, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of the airline.

In this virtual experience, you’ll step into the shoes of a British Airways team member on our Data Science team. Across two tasks, you’ll work on real-world challenges that impact British Airways operations and customer strategy. First, you’ll support our Airport Planning team by helping forecast lounge demand at Heathrow Terminal 3. Then, you’ll shift focus to customer acquisition, where you’ll build and evaluate a predictive model to identify future holiday travelers.

This programme is designed to help you gain insight into the kind of work we do at British Airways. We hope it provides a valuable opportunity to upskill, grow your confidence, and take a step closer to your future career. Let’s get started!

This program is self-paced. It takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete.
