Job Description SummaryThe Financial Analyst will support the Capital Markets Team to perform various forms of financial analysis and market research as required. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of real estate experience. Previous knowledge of Argus Enterprise and Salesforce is preferred.Job DescriptionKey responsibilitiesFinancial AnalysisRequest necessary information from appropriate party to complete underwriting/ analysis and follow up as necessaryPerform various analytics as requested using industry-specific systems/tools such as Argus and Microsoft ExcelMeet with team to discuss assumptions and scenarios for analysisPerform market research to ensure underwriting assumptions are supported by market conditions and trendsSupport Marketing Specialists, as required, for delivery of financial analysis and market research into Offering MemorandumsPitch and Proposal CoordinationAttend strategy meetings with Managing Directors to discuss required analysis for pitch/proposal and corresponding assumptions and scenariosPrepare analysis and corresponding write ups and provide to Associate for review and completionProvide analysis to Marketing for inclusion in pitch and/or proposalWork with graphic designers on related visuals for analysisCompetenciesExceptional analytical skillsStrong math and advanced research skillsAbility to read and interpret financial statements and leasesStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multitaskKnowledge of financial formulas specific to real estateBACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCEDemonstrated experience should include:Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred)1-3 years’ real estate experienceFinancial modeling experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge in ExcelExperience in ArgusExperience in Salesforce, CoStar and Real Capital Analytics a plusCushman & Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
