The Internal Compliance Auditor supports the mission and vision of Isaiah House by ensuring compliance with licensing, accreditation, certification, and other applicable requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prefer to be in healthcare administration, social work, or some other human services degree
- Healthcare, compliance, or substance abuse rehabilitation experience preferred
Job Duties:
- Becomes knowledgeable about AODE, BHSO, CARF, ASAM Level of Care, NARR, OSHA, and other regulations or requirements on the job
- Familiarity with internal company policies sufficient to complete job duties
- Conducts regular audits at all facilities, aftercare homes, outpatient clinics, and social enterprises
- Responsible for investigations tied to complaints and concerns brought to the compliance department, including information sent to the Compliance Hotline and client/staff grievances
- Upholds confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in interactions with staff and clients
- Creates reports for review by managers and executive team based on findings
- Identifies gaps in current policies, procedures, and trainings
- Facilitates compliance trainings where needed
- Works well with management and staff to improve deficiencies identified by investigations and audits
