Serves as the Research super user for Epic and the Clinical Trial Management System. Works collaboratively with IS, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Research Departments and vendors to optimize usage of these systems resulting in compliant and timely billing of research charges and the accurate financial reporting of research activity. Provides training and support for research teams who use these systems to perform daily tasks.
Responsible for performing Finance functions and activities to support the research departments at Piedmont, the Physician Enterprise Education Department, the Compassionate Use program and Physician Enterprise grants and funds
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in Business, Finance, Accounting or closely-related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year of progressive work experience in financial/operational analysis, in a multi-entity healthcare provider environment required.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree preferred. Experience with database and decision support systems. Epic experience and research experience preferred.
