Operations

Develop and sharpen your leadership and management skills as you learn the ins-and-outs of the heart of our company – serving our guests and team members. As part of ensuring a great in-store experience, you’ll work cross-functionally to streamline operations and drive positive financial results by optimizing processes, strategically managing multi-million dollar budgets and developing people. Bring your outside perspective and new ideas to truly make a better day for the people we serve.

Merchandising

Our Merchandising team tackles national brand campaigns, product assortments, and category management. You’ll work with the latest technology to analyze and calculate planograms, inventory and future needs. You may even discover the next big retail must-have item! Not to

mention spending time working with our food & beverage innovation team as they cook (or brew) up our newest culinary creations. It all shapes the way our guests enjoy their experience at Pilot Flying J.

IT

Leading us into the future and at the forefront of innovation is our IT department. With IT, you’ll build apps that power transformative guest and team member experiences using the latest cloud and data technologies, all while serving as a business liaison for surrounding departments. Flourish in the network, both technically and figuratively, as you innovate to solve and identify business opportunities. Did we mention participating our internal hack-a-thon event, Innovate? IT is connecting our company and changing the industry in powerful ways!

Supply & Distribution

Energy is the fuel that keeps our business going. While in S&D, you’ll learn about supplier relationships, analyze optimal buying opportunities, route efficient logistics, and price our 750+ locations. With over 7 billion gallons of fuel sold every year, it’s no wonder our supply & distribution department is essential to keeping North America moving.
